Chromebook?

Thinking of buying one but have no idea what to go for.
Have looked at specs & prices, but are they a good cheap alternative to MS Software Laptops?
Any pro's or con's on owning one?
Any advice or guidance would be most welcome before i buy or not!:thumb:
