Am running a batch file with the chkdsk command and this is the result am getting.

The type of the file system is NTFS
Volume dismounted. All opened handles to this volume are now invalid

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by anothe
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to b
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N

I want the program to run without the Server rebooting..is this possible

Not with that message.
However, for W2K3, you can run VRFYDSK, tip 7973 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at
