I typed 'chkdsk /f' at the cmd prompt and have not been able to turn back on
my desktop. When I try to boot, I get a message to start via:
- safe mode
- last known good configuation
- normally

None of the options works.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Suggest you tell the folks more... like why did you use the command
prompt for that in the first place? Were you having problems?

I was not having problems.
It was suggested for my work PC, so I decided to run it for my desktop at
home.
The machine is a HP m7100e.
