CHKDSK has destroyed Outlook and my life! Please help!

Excuse the hyperbole - but I am in a terrible bind. Windows ran ChkDsk for
problems when it booted up. It spent a long time, so I left the computer. I
peeked back and I notice it had done a ton of operations (deleting things, I
think), but I didn't think to really pay attention.

So after a while WIndows finally loads, I come back, and I log in. I go to
start Outlook and I receive a message saying: "Cannot start Microsoft
Outlook. The file C;\Documents and Settings\robin\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is not a personal folders file." I then
went to that path and saw that the pst file was 0 KB (as opposed to the

100MB I know it used to be.

Is there anyway to recover my old pst file??? Please help me! I a really
need help. Thank you so much!!!

Kind of brings the old saw BUSS to mind! Look for a file called archive.pst
and read Outlook's help for importing it. Everythiung should be there.
BTW, CHKDSK? on XP? Why were you running chkdsk?
