chkdsk error on drive

Jim

Hi,
When I go to defrag my drive it says drive c: is corrupt
and needs to have chkdsk run - I set the computer to run
chkdsk at startup with /f and /r commands - it runs, says
the disk is clean and boots in win2k no problem - I go to
defrag and the same error comes up again? Any help?
Thks.

Jim,

Try booting into the Recovery Console and running CHKDSK from there.
