Hi

Lately I've been having trouble with my comp - I boot, then when I tr
to enter Windows, my comp goes blank. [Sometimes it happens after
work in Windows for 5-15 mins]
I thought that this could be caused by something being overheated, s
I opened my comp case and touched different things - the only ho
thing was the North Bridge
Question - could this be because of my chipset being overheated?
don't have a chipset cooler..
Also, lately my comp's begun to "hang" even when the chipset doesn'
feel very hot.... Could it be that my chipset has gone bad
completely fubar? Or should I still try buying a cooler

Any other thoughts/advices

Thanks alot

Marta

leave the side cover off the case, does this help in anyway?
be careful 'touching' things without static protection.
are all your fans clear of debris?
