Maybe the prying eyes will stop him looking at pr0n though.
Case lock
it might be better that he be exposed to (whatever you
fear) while still under your supervision so you can help
guide his choices now, helping to promote healthy attitudes
and discuss these things... besides that, the forbidden
fruit is always the sweetest.

Hello:
We have a 15 year old son
Not anymore TBH.Hello:
We have a 15 year old son who we want to limit his computer activity
after school, while he's home alone -- before we get home from work.
We used to be able to just use a key to lock the keyboard with old 386
and 486 machines. But they don't make this like that anymore. Now we
have two an AMD 1.2 GHz machines. One is running Win2000 and the other
one has WinXP sp2 on it. Is it possible to "lock" these two pc's?

My parents let me buy my first computer when I was 15 and put it in
my room.

Perhaps you should actually start treating him like the adult he is
soon to be and put some trust in him.

You have the writing skills of a five year old.Grow up a 15 yr old is a child even if they think they are not and before
you start i have 6 children and may i add 3 of them have there own pc and
serf the net when they wish, but if i say they cant(punishment ) then that is
the end of it, until i allow it.Otherwise really I would expect the comment
you made to be offered by a 15 -18 yr old if your not that age then you need
to get out out more.
I think he wants to short the time he's son spends on computer ratherPassword protect your Windows on the other partition. (I think this
is the solution if all you want to do is stop your kid from using a
personal computer.)
Buy a disk manager like PartitionMagic. Do it for the kid.
Make a partition for him on your hard disk.
On that partition, install Windows and his applications.
Make a backup copy of that partition.
If he is to do anything useful, make sure his files go to removable
media.
Every evening, delete his partition and copy the copy back into its
place. That will make him reinstall anything he wasn't supposed to be
installing, every day.
Take out memory modules. These are small and handy like car radio panel.one has WinXP sp2 on it. Is it possible to "lock" these two pc's?
So remove his hands.Nothing that a kid can get his hands on is kid proof!
So remove his hands.
I know that when I was a kid, had my parents asked me not to touch
something -- the TV, for example -- while they were out of the
house, and I had said, "No, I won't touch it," then that would
have been the end of it.
