Checking Web links in Internet Explorer

My IE settings seem to have changed since the last time I
worked on a Web page. I have created a new page for my
site but cannot check the links offline as I could
before. I can still get links between previously created
pages to work when I am offline. I have checked the
coding on the new page and cannot find any errors. Also,
when I open IE, it used to show my home page even when I
was offline. Now it says "This page cannot be
displayed," and the dial-up window opens. I suspect the
problems may be related. How can I get it to work as it
did previously?

Clean your TIF or better still start a new slate.

Delete/Empty Temporary Internet Cache completely
