Hi,
How do I check the revision of the nVIDIA display device driver on my VISTA
system. I want to check and make sure it is a lower rev than the latest
available from NVIDIA at their "download drivers" website. Also has anyone
followed NIVIDIA's "hints" before downloading: turn-off anti-virus sw and
un-install the existing display device driver before downloading the new one.
This 2nd step sounded a little risky to me, but maybe not!
Thanks,
Vincent

Hi Vincent:
I think if you click the start button> right click on "Computer">click
"Manage">click "Continue">click "Device Manager">expand "Display
Adaptors">right click "Nvidia xxx">click "Properties">click "Driver" you will
see the Driver Version listed. If you download a new driver from Nvidia be
sure you get one approved for Vista........preferrably "certified" for Vista.
If they don't have a Certified Vista driver and you aren't having too much
trouble with the driver built into Vista, you might want to wait until
Nvidia comes up with a Certified driver for best results.
