How do I scan files that I have downloaded off the internet to make sure that they are virus free. I have saved the files onto a floppy. I am new at the internet so would be greatful to hear feedback from experienced users. Ta

Get some virus protection software. I use AVG.

Sorry this is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try
annexcafe.general.user2user newsgroup for more information.

If you have your anti-virus program updated and activated when you download
these files, they are scanned at that time. Why would you want to scan them
again [although you can]?
