Checkbox Problem

I don't know why, but in several Microsoft Windows
programs, and very rarely other non-Microsoft software
programs, the check marks in the checkboxes don't show
up. It's very difficult to determine if the box is
already unchecked or not. For example, if you run
msconfig or Disk Cleanup, you can't see which processes
are checked for running at startup (msconfig) or which
items to free space (disk cleanup). If anyone knows how
to resolve this issue, please post. Thank you.

Perhaps you may want to try different colour schemes that provide more
contrasy for your specific monitor and resolution.

Alsp, many (most?) monitors have buttons that you can manipulate to alter
the brightness and contrast levels. That could wotk, too.

David means you may reset your xp theme to defualt, and see if the checks
show.
The situation is not clear and sounds terrible.

If you have an nVidia card and have recently updated the driver, try a roll
back.

Hmm, I do have an nVidia card (Riva TNT2 32MB). Thanks
for the advice, I'll try rolling back.
