Check Names - Name resolution does not work

I can type a user's name on the "to" line by either first name, last name or
last name, first name and my Check Names icon button resolves the name.
However, another user in our office can only resolve by Last Name, First
Name. If he types in the First Name and Last Name, the address does not
resolve.

Does anyone know a solution or cause to this problem? Both of us are
running Microsoft Outllook 2003 with all up to date patching and are on an
Exchange Server 5.5.
