When chkdsk runs on the kids computer (Winxp)It states
the following - TRUNCATING BADLY LINKED ATTRIBUTE RECORDS
FROM FILE RECORD SEGMENT 52834
What does this mean & how do i fix it?? As it will not
let me do any maintenance on the computer ie defragging,
etc

Leeky, if you can swap out the Ram in your kids computer and see if
that helps. Kids do heavy gaming?
Try defrag from a command prompt.
