Cheap flatbed

I bought a Brother MFC and it broke my flatbed. I am now in the market
for a flatbed scanner, without any bells and whistles, that will just
let me scan stuff that won't fit in the MFC, such as drivers license or
credit cards. I don't even care about any software, since I can scan to
ma software copy machine, which will allow me to print a copy. Any
ideas? I *DON'T* want to have to uninstall the MFC to scan stuff.
Win XP Home, 1 gig Mem, 2.8 Mhz.
