can anybody tell me if there is a way to get a character list of fonts
please? When im trying to find a symbol in Wingdings or Webdings etc, i have
to manually hit each key till i find what i need. (takes ages!!) Is there
some sort of list i can print off which shows that a = a car, A = a dog etc
etc etc???? Simple answers please cos i havent got a clue what you guys
mean when you start going on about HTMLs, unicode and other computer blah!!
thanks lots.

Go to Insert > Symbol and browse to your heart's content.

Word supports the full Unicode set, so potentially, depending on the fonts
you've chosen to use, there are over a million possible glyphs. Have a look
at www.unicode.org for details of how it all works. This has nothing
directly to do with Word.
