So suddenly whenever I turn on my computer, I have to logon now. I
don't have a password because my user is the administrator, but it
still makes me logon, I don't type any password in, but I still have to
click okay to make it go straight to my desktop. It used to not do this
before, and just skip over the welcome screen and go straight to my
desktop. It's weird and I don't like it. I already went into control
panel and unchecked the "use welcome screen option" and also, when i go
to shut down the computer, it now looks like this:

it looks like the old version of windows (i'm using styleXP panther
theme) but that has nothing to do with the way i start up/shut down my
computer. is there any way of getting the old version of windows xp
start screen and shut down window back. help would be apprecated. ^_^
