I have been using StyleXP theme software and I recently changed themes.
With the last theme,(style), it showed the FireFox icon as the default
browser in Start menu window. Now, it shows IE Icon, even though FF is
default browser. Can I manually change the Icon in Windows? Or, is it
specific to the theme files in StyleXp/ThemeXP folder?

Right-click on the icon and select:
Properties > Change Icon...

You might want to try the following to see if it will reset the
icons:

Right click on your Start button and select Properties from the
drop down menu.
Click on the Start Menu tab.
Click on the Customize button.
In the "Show on Start Menu" section, change the entries from
Mozilla Firefox to Internet Explorer and from Mozilla
Thunderbird to Outlook Express.
Click OK.
Click on the Start button to confirm the change.
Now go back and reset the programs to Firefox and Thunderbird.
Click OK.
Check the Start button to see if the proper icons are now
displayed.

If this doesn't help and you really want to use this theme, you
can try the following workaround:

Right click on your Start button and select Properties from the
drop down menu.
Click on the Start Menu tab.
Click on the Customize button.
In the "Show on Start Menu" section, remove the check marks
from both boxes.
Click OK.
Next, right click on the Firefox icon that's on your Desktop.
Select "Pin to Start menu" from the drop down box.
Do the same for Thunderbird.

I know it's not perfect but the icons should be OK.

Good luck
