Theme Changes and Icons

Hello

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to have my icons change every
time I change desktop themes. I would like to pair certain icons with
certain wallpapers and then when I switch the theme have both switch as well
(make sense?). However when I change an Icon on my desktop in one theme and
then change themes from the desktop the icon remains as it was.
Here is a fake example to show what I am talking about:
Theme 1
Wallpaper = Roses
Icons = different flowers

When I change themes I would like for it to be
Theme 2
Wallpaper: Cartoon scene
Icons: Cartoon characters

Then if I decide to change again and go back to Theme 1 for it go back to
Wallpaper = Roses
Icons = different flowers
When I change themes in the display properties menu.

But the problem now is that when I am designing a theme and I change the
icons they stay that why when I switch themes again. (So in other words if I
made the cartoons theme and then switched back to the roses theme I would
still have the cartoon icons on the roses background).

Is this possible to have them both switch with just windows XP? Do I need
to buy Plus in order for this to happen? Or some other software? Any help
is greatly appreciated!

THANK YOU!!

Yes I have read those tutorials.

Perhaps I wasnt specific enough. I want to change all the icons on my
desktop each time - not just the system icons - the shortcuts too.

Is this possible?

It's not possible using themes. However, you can write a script or a program
to change the icons for the shortcuts manually.
