Changing startup programs

How do I change which programs automativcally start when
I start windows? I know that some programs give you this
options as a "checkbox" under the preferences, and I can
remove it from the "Startup" folder in the start menu,
but what about programs who dod not fit this criteria? I
use the Software environment program to display the
startup programs, but I cannot edit these at all. Any
ideas? Help.

Hi,

Type at Start<Run.. MSCONFIG.EXE and press enter. Flip to the Startup tab.

You can either use msconfig

OR

search on the net for startupcpl (which is better than msconfig).
