Changing Recycle bin behaviour

Hi!

Is there a way to change Recycle bin behaviour so that it
would store anything I delete for some time period and
that it would not limit deleted files by size. So that
it would simple move file to Recycle bin and after N days
it would delete file permanently. Even if I delete 20 GB
file or something.

Hi Mike,

In short: No.

You might want to look into something like Norton's protected bin.

Hi!
You might want to look into something like Norton's protected bin.

I am using it now but I do not like the way it hides files. And that
I have then Recycle bin and its protected files. So if I do not delete
file permanently it still goes to the Recycle bin where it is deleted
if it is to large. And it takes really long to find all deleted files
with protected bin.

Is there some other alternative?

Right click on the Recycle Bin and go to properties. Change the size of
the bin. You cannot adjust deleted files holding time.
