changing primary/registered user

When I first turned on the new computer, one of the options was to configure an internet account. The screen then asked for the name of the primary email account. This page did not have an option to back out and complete later, so I entered an expletive as a name.

This name, however, was used as the registered owner. I now have a user file with this expletive name with a .DCSFX941 extension. The system will not let me change the name of the file from the expletive to a real name. The error message is
"expletive.DCSFX941 is a Windows System Folder and is required for windows to run properly. It cannot be moved or renamed.

The primary user file has a .DCSFX941 extension and is a folder in the Documents and Settings file:
C:\Documents and Settings\expletive.DCSFX941

How can I change this file name?

Thanks

Romaso,

Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management starts the
Computer Management wizard. Under Local Users and Groups - Users, you
will see a list of users. Is your expletive named user in the list?
If so, can you right click on the name and select rename?

Cheers,
Chuck
