Changing over from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007

I recently upgraded to Office Enterprise 2007. I wanted to change my email
default from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007 but I cannot get Outlook 2007 to
connect or communicate with my servers yet Outlook Express is not having any
problems. I also wanted to delete Outlook Express to see if this would
correct the problem since I thought there might be a conflict there but I
cannot find how to delete Express. HELP Please.

Yes I set everything up in the Outlook 2007 just as it appeared in the
Outlook Express settings.
