Outlook express requests me to compress files

I am running Office 2007. To the best of my knowledge, I did not install
Outlook Express when I upgraded my computer to Office 2007 since I use
Outlook. However, whenever I turn on my computer, a message appears, asking
if I want Outlook Express to compress my files. I don't, so I must click
Cancel.

It is the appropriate newsgroup for all things relating to MS Outlook
Express, which is a component of Internet Explorer (through version 6).
