Changing output to Mpeg

I want to output my movie to a cd which will play in my
dvd player. Any Help? Must I convert? How do I
convert?
 
Yes, you must convert. See the CD Burning section of www.papajohn.org

You'll choose between converting to MPEG1 files to make VCDs or MPEG2 to
make SVCDs.
