Unable to play home made dvd on dvd player

Hi
After making a movie and burning it on to a DVD, I find it will not play on
my DVD player. Though it plays ok on my laptop. Does any one know how I can
convert it MPEG from WVM. The burner is NTI CD & DVD-Maker Gold

You need a DVD Authoring program to create your DVD.
There are many different ones to choose from and most have trial downloads
so you can check them out before you decide which one to buy.
There is a list of the most popular ones on my website in the "DVD Programs"
section.
