When I click the link to open Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 I am then
prompted to pick a profile. I have the profile name: outlook. How can I chang
it? I have tried control panel, user accts mail ect.. but I don't see wher to
chane it because all of the info is correct and uses my right name. Can
anyone help?

Why do you feel a need to change the profile name? The name of the profile has no bearing on Outlook's operation at all.

there is no real reason to change it, but you could try copying it and
changing the name on the copy... or make a new profile and choose the name
you want.

OT, but I've always found this annoying as well - particularly when
someone's profile was set up by default with "outlook" and I want to add new
profiles for them for other accounts for any reason. If I copy a profile and
name the new copy what I wish, it breaks if I subsequently delete the
profile I copied it from (which I would certainly want to do to avoid
confusion). Creating a new profile for the user can be an immense pain in
the ___, especially now that one can't export mail settings to an .iaf file.

This isn't a big deal for corporate/Exchange users, as it's so easy to
create a new profile for them, but for home/small office users, it's an
irritant.
