changing music files to mpeg?

Am trying to figure out (bare with me, I am new to all of this) how or if
it's possible to change music formats? I downloaded some music from wal mart
and am on www.onetruemedia.com making a video and want to download this music
onto that website and it says it needs to be mpeg or acc format? If anyone
can help me...ugh I would be lovin life, since I have spent hrs trying to do
this on my own!! Thank you in advance.

What format is the music in that you downloaded from Wal-Mart's site? (I've
never bought any music from them.)

Once you know that you can generally look to see if there is a converter
available. You might find one at:

If you have iTunes on your computer (and a CD burner), you can use this
method:

Basically, burn the iTunes version onto a CD then import into iTunes as
MP3.
