Copying downloaded music to mobile phone

Please forgive my ignorance as I am a novice at this technological stuff. I
have downloaded music from Limewire which has transferred onto WMP. I now
want to put that music onto my Samsung D600 mobile which has an MP3 player on
it but I cannot find out how to do it. I have connected the phone to my
laptop but when I try to find the files I want to copy from in Media files it
just gives me the option of copying the standard windows chimes etc and not
the music I have on the WMP. It gives me the option of opening My Playlist
but this is currently empty. Do I have to transfer this music to My Playlist
before I try to copy or is there a simple option to bypass this? Hope
someone can help with this. Thanks.

Did you read your owners manual that came with your Samsung D600
unit? Check under Download music to MP3 player. "If all else fails, read
instructions".

When you download music it does not get transferred into a program such as
WPM. The programs only maintain playlists to make it easier to access the
music. The actual files are by default in the My Music folder. You should be
able to copy from there.
