I thought Changing Folder Icon For 75 Folders would be
easy: Change 1 thru Properties and then copy that
Desktop.ini to other 74 folders. Thought I did this in
ME but it doesnt work in XP.

What am I missing? Comments/suggestions/corrections
appreciated. Alternatives too that avoid going thru
Properties 75 times- WHEW.

Thanks- Larry

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

Hilite all the folders in Windows Explorer then right click on the
selection and select Properties> Customize.

I forgot to say that the folders in question are result
of a search. Tried it anyway & they executed without
error but did not work on all but 1- icon didnt show 4
folder & no Desktop.ini's were created in any of 55
folders.

I also tried it on all folders contained in another
folder but it only changed the icon for the file I
rt-clked on. Using APP Key instead of rt-clk made no
difference.

Thank you for ur response.
Comments/suggestions/corrections appreciated.
