when i customize my folders, change the icon on the
folder in any documents, before it worked but now, if the
icon is changed, there is a file that is always in the
folder called "Desktop.ini". I read the properties and it
says its hidden. I know this is just a file needed when a
folder is customized, it's like the code. But how do I
make it go away and not show in my list of things inside
that folder?

Click Tools, Folder Options, View
Uncheck "Do not show hidden files and folders"

Desktop.ini files are hidden ones: in Folder Options - View, select to
Hide Hidden and System files
