Changing file extension

This should be simple but I just can't find the handle. I downloaded an eps
file, but the extension shows "ps." The supplier says to simply change the
extension to eps and it will be fine. I thought I could do it through rename,
but that doesn't seem to give me access to the extension. Anybody know the
trick?

Go to folder option and on the view tab, uncheck the box that says, "Hide
extensions for known file types".

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder containing the ps
file you want to change.

On the Explorer menu bar select Tools - Folder Options and go to the
View tab. Click on the checkbox for "Hide extensions for known file
types" to clear it. Then click on Apply and OK as needed to exit.

You should now be able to rename the file to change the extension.

Good luck
