When my computer was built, the Zip drive, etc., was installed before XP
was loaded, thus ending up with my main drive as E:, not C:. That has
presented a few problems but nothing major. I recently purchased
TurboTax and it will not load except to C: drive. I cannot even change
it during installation. Intuit says it will only load to C:. I also
find that my WinZip files will not work with E:.

Is there any simple way to change my drive from E: to C: without having
to reformat and lose most of the info on my E: drive? Or could there be
a way to make TurboTax load?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

There is no way to change the drive letter for the system partition in XP.
Run the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard and back up any data files before
formatting and reinstalling.

The following article explains, in great detail, about how to transfer your
current configurations and settings to the new clean XP installation.
