Changing Drive Letters in XP

Is there a way to change drive letters in XP for card
readers, etc?

Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer Management | Disk

Management under Storage, then RIGHT click on the drive letter to change

and select the Change Letter option.

I'm not familiar with card readers, but if XP assigns them drive letters,
you can change them by right clicking my computer and choosing manage. Open
disk management. In the right pane right click the drive and choose change
drive letter and paths.
