Changing default RECIEVING format in Outlook

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to change the default view format for Outlook
XP. I want all messages that come into my inbox to show in plain text only.
I can do this easily in OutlookExpress but cannot find a similair option in
Office Outlook. Ican easily change all outgoing messages to plain text or
html, but when receiving, i'd like all messages to open in plain text only.
Can Outlook do this? TIA
