Changing default location for personal folders for outlook 2003

I have my mail folders on a separate external drive. That way when my
computer is down I can just plug the drive into another computer and continue
to work on my mail and my other documents. I have just done a fresh install
and cannot get the personal folder file to default to the external drive.
Anyone know how to do this?

With outlook closed you move your data files to the prefered location. When
you open outlook it will complain and allow you to browse to and select the
data file
