Move personal folders to external drive - Outlook 2003 Windows XP

My mail folders are stored on a removable drive. That way when my computer is
in the shop - I still have access to everything I need. (Black Viper tip).
How do I get my personal folders to default to the same location? I've done
it before but can't remember how?
 
close outlook, move the files then go to control panel, mail and point to
the new location for the data file.
