Changing default colour scheme for charts - specifically pie chart

I have about 20 charts that I need to create and the default colour scheme
doesn't match the colour scheme of my slides (it's a company colour scheme so
that can't be changed). There are entirely too many segments to be changing
them individually - how can I change the default colour scheme???

PS - if you can tell me how to do the same thing in Excel I'd really
appreciate it...

Thanks in advance...

Other than the chart colors that map to PPT's scheme colors, which Echo explains
in the link Luc posted) you can't really do much to change the default colors.

I'd make one chart, format it as fully as possible, then make as many copies of
it as you need and edit the data to make your other 19 charts.
