Changing a theme's background color (if possible)

I have a web in FP 2003 utilizing the canned "afternoon" web theme.

I like the yellow "fading" out to white from the left of the page. IS there
any way I can change the color of this page background theme to, say, green
?

I figured out how to change about every other color of the theme, but THIS
one, remains a mystery to me.

Modify the theme and replace the background image with the one you want.
