Cannot undo background color of cell in layout table

Once the background color of a cell within a layout table is set, I cannot
unset it so that a "theme" displays as the background.

Here's what I'm doing:
I decided to apply a theme to a Dynamic Web Template so that all pages
associated with it have the same color theme. The unfortunate thing is I
have one cell that has a background color set which I cannot remove.

Any ideas on how I can remove that cell background property so my theme will
appear?

Have you tried removing it in Code View.
