Can you help? When I enter contact changes in accounting it will change in
the account section of out look,BUT IT WILL NOT CHANGE IN THE CONTACT MANAGER,
IF I add a new contact it will not show up inthe business contact nor is
there a prompt to do with that information , I am use accounting 2007 and out
look bcm 2007.
If you make a mistake and erase the name and try to put it back in
accounting will not let you do it, it goes nuts

Dan,

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Seamless Integration" as defined by
Microsoft! The only BCM data item that cross relates to Office Accounting is
the BCM Account Record. If you have a "Business-to-Person" model of selling
Products or Services like I and a multitude of others, you will have to
redundantly convert the Business Contact Record into an Account Record first
before you can relate it to the Office Accounting Customer Record.

This "One size fits all" requirement is just the way it is (and has been for
far too long) with BCM's design. The Redmond bureaucracy all too often has a
left hand that does not always seem to know what the right hand is doing and
god forbid that they would employ any viable input from real world usage
scenarios. Such design empathy might be a real threat to some programmer's
fragile ego!

Harsh words? Perhaps, but I remained amazed at the same old comments like
Dan's here in this workgroup after all these years.
