BCM History 'From' field not populating

M

MTech

When you list a history item within BCM, either through Projects, Accounts or
Business contacts. The 'From' field for an historical EMail is blank. Surely
this is a bug and should be fixed? Or, do I need to change/configure
something to allow this field to populate, I have looked all over but can't
find anything obvious to do this.

I am having exact same problem. I've done a pretty thorough search of the web
and no one seems to have answer.

It really limits the utility of linking emails to accounts if you can
readily see who it's from in the history...

I can not get the To field to work under any circumstance in the history
portion of a business contact. The from field is driving me nuts. The ability
to manipulate fields or save views is very glitchy in BCM. I could name off
at least 5 other problems. I hope the review them and fix that portion of BCM
because it definitely slows down portions of my business.

I am a new user and have exactly the same problem, it doesn't populate the to
& from email fields, nor the date and time sent and received, it just seems
to put the date and time that the history item was created. Very frustrating
as i want to be able to see the full communication history from each contact
without having to look in the sent and received email boxes. This must be a
bug as all the other irrelevant mail fields that you would never want to use
display ok!
