changes homepage

My IE homepage connection string has a / at the end.

The connection frequently drops the / on it's own,
especially when connecting.

What causes this?

I'm running 2000 pro. Is there a repair function I can
access?

I contacted Dell, and they e-mailed instructions for
repairing xp. When I answered that I had 2000 pro, they
never replied.

Hello Bob,

Why do you need the slash at the end? If it is at the end
it shouldn't matter.

I second what Dave says. A "/" at the end of the URL shouldn't matter.
This is common behavior. Are you having any trouble accessing you home
page?

If I try without the /, it won't connect. The homepage
connection is a secure site.

and
http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/

I wish I knew the answer to Bob's question.
