Hi
I have my desktop and laptop networked together and was able to send
the print command to the printer (canon ip4000) attached to the
desktop Then the printer packed up, so I got a canon ip4200 and now I
can't figure out how to get the laptop to share it
I use te wizard and type in the name/location of the printer, but it
gets refused
Can anyone tell me how/where to find the printer name/location on the
pc please?

Assuming the printer is working fine on the desktop PC then...

Normally you would go to the desktop PC and select "share this printer" and
enter a name. Then go to the laptop and run the add new printer wiz.

Select "A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer"
"Next"
"Browse for a printer"

and it should find the printer for you. Select it and hit next/ok or
whatever.

If it doesn't find the printer try rebooting the laptop and repeat.
