changed out hard drive used mator soft ware

now i am unable to set the restore point, says that dill
app?
is there way to fix this?
did i install new hard drive wrong using win xp home?

Mator software? Never heard of it,however does the drive
show up in my computer,is it a slave drive or master with
xp on it.Turn off restore in system properties,go to run,
type:cmd In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow When the graph
starts,install xp cd,exit the info page.When the graph
is thru,remove cd,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,
then type:EXIT Restart computer,back on desktop,turn
on restore in system properties,then open restore in
accessories,set a restore point to the current time,etc.

You can turn it off from Control Panel > System > and then
re-boot and it will purge it's file. Then re-boot, turn it
back on.
And try this if the above does not work.

1. Put the in the Windows XP CD
2. Click Start , Run
3. Type the following then OK

rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf


You can also open Windows Explorer, go to
C:\Windows\Inf folder and right-click sr.inf (Then Install)
