Change window size when opening new window in IE6

I have IE6 on a Win98 system. When opening a new link
from IE6, the browser window is small. I can maximize
(resize) this window, but the settings aren't saving.
When going back to this link later, the window is small
again. Is this IE or a Win98 windows setting? I can't
find anything that will allow me to change browser window
settings. I won't the browser window to open maximized
every time.

Johnny,
Stretch that small second window out to full size- don't use maximize.
Close the first (parent) window, then close that second window.
