Change the way a user logs on or off

Hi

I want to be able to remove the win2k style logon procedure when I start my
machine. I have tried going to Control Panel > Users and Change the way the
users log on or off, but before I get any further I receive an error message
saying:
"A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast User
Switching. To restore there features, you must uninstall the program. The
following filename might help you identify the program that made the change:
gina.dll"

A search for the gina.dll file returs about 5 hits..

I have not idea on what to do next, and would appreciate any help.

I am running Windows XP SP1.

Go to wireless network connection and go to properites and install all of the
TCP/IP drivers and install all client service netware............... hope
this works

Thanks for you feedback, Kelvin. Only thing is, I don't see how my TCP/IP
drivers have anything to do with logon procedures...
