Change the background color of emails from Others

Can I change the background color of emails received from different people?
My manager wants to change the background color of emails from her boss so
she can target them better. We have set up rules with flags, and even did
the organizer where the sender and subject text are colored, but she still
prefers the background to change on emails only from her boss. Can this be
done?
