Change so deleted emails don't open in deleted folder.

Something changed in my Outlook. When I ckick on unopened, unwanted emails
with the delete function, they transfer to the delete folder. I could then
delete those emails without them opening. For what ever reason, now the
deleted folder opens these emails. I don't want this to happen as a pup,
trojan or virus can get into my computer this way. I have tried everything,
I could find to try to change these occurances, with no success. Help.

Turn off the Reading Pane for your Deleted Items folder and the
messages will not open.
