change saving photos from .bmp to .jpg?

Hi Explorer all of a sudden went from saving photos off
web pages as >jpg's to saving them as bmp's Any idea how
to change it back to jpg? thanks.

Paul -

Usually an overly full cache can cause this. Try clearing the TIF's. IE
Options>General tab> delete files> delete all off-line content>OK> OK out.
