SAVING PHOTOS ON LINE

I have been using my current PC for 2 months - Windows XP
and IE6. The "problem" only started yesterday. When I am
online and try to save a photo this happens:

I right click on the photo

I click on the choice Save Picture As...

The only file type I can save the photo as is BMP

Their are no other file types on the dropdown at BMP

If I right click on the same photo and then click
on "Choices", it shows that it is a JPG file.

I tried on a number of photos with the same result.

Up until yesterday this was not the case. When I saved a
photo there were choices for the file type - one being
JPG.

It seems like some sort of setting has been changed, but
I'm stumped for what else to check.

Empty your browser's cache....

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
